Running and walking on Thanksgiving morning! What could be better?? Make room for those second helpings by joining us at 8:00am Thanksgiving morning for an invigorating 5k on the beautiful greenbelt in Nampa! Thanksgiving themed costumes are highly encouraged!! This event is family friendly and runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.
Enjoy the out and back 5k course that features pumpkin pie bites on the greenbelt at the halfway point, and pumpkin spice hot cocoa at the finish!
Help us help our Nampa food banks! All runners and walkers are encouraged to bring at least one canned good or non-perishable food item on race morning. All items will be donated to our local Nampa food banks and pantries.

Course Description
The race will start at the parking lot of Gem Prep School.
This is a flat 5k out-and-back course on which runners and walkers will head out of the Gem Prep School parking lot, making a right onto Iowa Ave, and then turning right onto the greenbelt. Participants will follow the course markings on the greenbelt until they arrive at the aid station/turn-around located at the Wilson Pathway marker WP 4.4. Runners and walkers will then follow course markings to return to Gem Prep School.
Please, for your own safety and for the safety and consideration of others:
- No dogs allowed on the course.
- If you must bring a stroller, please stay to the right so other runners and walkers can pass safely
- We understand that sometimes the only way to run or walk is with music. Please keep one earbud out, and volume low enough so that you are able to easily hear what’s happening around you.
